Individual Training Session (Ballycroy)

Service Description

Our 45 Minute Individual Training Sessions at our main base in Ballycroy are designed to provide focused, personalised training around whatever your dog needs most. These one-to-one sessions give us the opportunity to work on a wide range of training goals, including improving basic cues, recall training, loose lead walking, jumping up, competition obedience, focus and engagement, or fine-tuning existing skills. Every session is tailored to your individual dog and your goals, allowing us to create practical strategies that fit into your everyday life. We will work together to identify what your dog needs, demonstrate the exercises clearly, and give you the tools and understanding to continue making progress at home. Sessions are booked as 45 minutes of training time, however we allow up to 60 minutes overall to include any conversations that need to happen before or after working with your dog. Depending on your dog’s age, temperament, and ability to cope with the session, we may choose to use the full time available for discussion and guidance rather than continuing with training. This is because quality training is about working at the right pace for your dog, not simply doing more. If your dog is experiencing more complex behavioural challenges, such as significant reactivity, we may use this session as an initial assessment to better understand your dog’s needs. Following this, we can advise you on the most appropriate next steps and whether a more detailed behavioural support plan would be beneficial.
