WHY DOGS STEAL FOOD
From your dog's side, food on a counter is a jackpot, and every time they find a crust or a bit of butter the habit gets stronger, which is why it can seem to come out of nowhere and then happen every day.
Telling a dog off tends to teach them to wait until the kitchen is empty. The course works on the kitchen setup, a solid settle and leave it, and practising in real life, so your dog learns that lying on their bed pays far better than the worktop.
WHAT'S IN THE COURSE
WHY DOGS STEAL
What's really driving it, and why the habit grows so quickly.

THE SETTLE
A step-by-step demo of a calm settle that holds when food is about.
LEAVE IT
Teaching leave it properly, then proofing it in the real kitchen.
REAL-LIFE PRACTICE
Mealtimes, visitors and the shopping coming in, with troubleshooting.
GUIDE AND PRINTABLES
The 36-page guide plus a checklist, log, setup guide and family agreement.
WHO IT'S FOR
PUPPIES AND ADULT DOGS
It's for any breed and any age, from a puppy who has just found out they can reach the table to an older dog with years of practice behind them. Tall breeds have the easiest reach, so the kitchen setup lesson matters most for them.
You don't need special kit, just treats, a bed or mat and a bit of time in the kitchen. The household agreement printable gets the whole family doing the same thing, because one person leaving the butter out can undo a week of practice.
GOT A PUPPY?
PUPPY CLUB COVERS THE LOT
If your puppy is also nipping, crying in the crate or having accidents, Puppy Club covers all of it from the first night home right through the teenage months. Counter surfing is one part of it, and you get the full roadmap so you always know what to work on next.
QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK
How long do I have access?
Lifetime access, with one payment. You can go back to the lessons whenever the habit starts creeping back in or you get a new dog.
My dog is older. Will it still work?
Yes. Older dogs with a long history of stealing take a bit more practice, but the same steps work at any age and the troubleshooting lesson covers the common sticking points.
Do I need any equipment?
No. You'll need treats, a bed or mat and your kitchen, and the setup guide shows you what to move so you're not fighting the habit while you train.
What if I need more help?
You can book a video session with me, or join Puppy Club if you have a puppy and there's more going on than counter surfing.
