30 minute lesson

WHY SHORT LESSONS WORK
Agility is hard work for a dog's body and brain, and a young or nervous dog can switch off long before the lesson ends. Thirty minutes keeps them keen, so they finish wanting more instead of running out of steam.
I've competed at Crufts, Olympia and Discover Dogs and I've been training dogs for over 30 years. Every lesson builds confidence, fitness and focus with plenty of rewards, at the level that suits your dog.
HOW IT WORKS
1. GET IN TOUCH
Email us with your dog's name, age and breed and any agility they've done before.
2. YOUR LESSON
Thirty minutes one-to-one on our competition field in Ballycroy, at your dog's level.
3. BUILD UP
Confidence, fitness and focus grow lesson by lesson, with plenty of rewards along the way.
WHO IT'S FOR
NEW TO AGILITY OR NEED A GENTLE START
It suits dogs over 12 months who are new to agility, young, a little nervous or easily tired. Foundation work can start from 9 months once we've talked about your dog.
If your dog already knows the equipment and you're working towards competing, the 45 minute lesson suits you better. It gives us more time on the field for sequences and handling.
QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK
How old does my dog need to be?
Agility lessons are for dogs over 12 months. Foundation work can start from 9 months once we've talked about your dog.
Does my dog need any experience?
No. This lesson is a good place to start, and we work at the level that suits your dog.
What should I bring?
Bring your dog's favourite treats or toy and some water. Wear shoes you can move in on grass, because you'll be running too.
Why can't I book online?
We like to match the lesson to your dog first. That's why agility lessons are booked directly with us by email rather than through a calendar.
